2012 Write to Inspire Book Giveaway – “An Introduction to Christian Writing” by Ethel Herr

The conference is only three days away! I’ve been blessed by the generosity of authors who donated books for our giveaway.

When I opened the package from Ethel Herr, I praised God.

An Introduction to Christian Writing contains “all you need to launch you on your writing ministry.” It is “valuable as a teaching tool and continuing resource.”

The Lord used this book to nudge me onto the path He’d planned for my writing journey. Chapter by chapter, He gave me the courage to obey His calling as I honed my craft.

What are people saying about An Introduction to Christian Writing?

“. . . It has become the classic resource for Christian writers, and in its revised edition will continue to give solid guidance the writer can depend on for years to come.” -Sally E. Stuart, Author of The Christian Writers Market Guide

“Easy to read! Easy to apply! It’s the best on the market, bar non! I refer to my copy all the time. I’ve nearly worn it out. Every writer−beginner or pro−should read it every year.” Christine Tangvald, Writer of best-selling children’s books

“Ethel Herr is an excellent teacher. As a result of her book I was schooled in the craft of writing. At the same time, I was deeply instructed that whatever I do, it should be for God’s glory and not mine. I’ve spent the last decade recommending this book to any aspiring writer.” Robin Jones Gunn, Speaker, Teacher, and Author, including Christy Miller and Sierra Jensen series

Ethel equips writers to grow from newbie to professional and encourages them to develop their “God-given talent.” She is a “long-time author, teacher, and conference speaker.” One of her greatest gifts is being an “encourager of fledgling and experienced writers.” I’ve been blessed to learn and be inspired under her tutelage.

You can connect with Ethel on her website.

But, for a chance to win this autographed copy of An Introduction to Christian Writing, you’ll need to do is register for and attend the 2012 Write to Inspire conference.
